This is a work made simplifying a photo of a precious glass work that I saw in Prague. The exhibition was in the hall of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (Exhibition Hall, 17. listopadu 2, Prague 1)
Organized by Smålands museum — Swedish Glass Museum in Växjö in partnership with the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, the exhibition is a survey of the very best artworks of 20th-century Swedish glass, held to commemorate the end of the year of the Czech Republic’s and Sweden’s EU Presidency. Both countries have enjoyed a long tradition of collaboration and mutual inspiration in the field of industrially manufactured glass and studio art glass. Furthermore, the exhibition documents the creative trends in glass during the 20th century jointly shared by the two countries. A small catalogue has been published to accompany the exhibition.
